It starts with a beat that doesn't feel right.

And no one has explained what it means.

We map your rhythm and explain it in plain English.

Then we treat it, and the rhythm steadies.

And the nights are quiet again.

Your doctor, every step.

Just told something is wrong with your heart rhythm?

  • You were diagnosed with AFib and sent home with a prescription and little else.
  • Your heart races, skips or pauses, and nobody has explained why.
  • You were told you need an ablation or a pacemaker, and you want to be sure.
  • You have seen a different doctor at every visit and still have questions.

At CEPI, your electrophysiologist explains what your heart is doing first, then recommends only what fits.

Your doctor. Every step.

At big hospital programs you can meet a different face at every visit. At CEPI, your electrophysiologist reads your ECG, performs your procedure and reviews your follow-up personally.

  • Explain before we act
  • Your doctor, every step
  • The right treatment, not the most

The CEPI way: what to expect

  1. Consultation: We map your rhythm and explain it in plain English.

  2. Your plan: Medication, monitoring, ablation or a device, only what fits.

  3. Follow-up: Your physician tracks your heart long after the procedure.

Questions patients ask

Do I need a referral?

Many patients come to us through their cardiologist or primary care doctor, and you can also contact us directly. Some insurance plans require a referral, so call our office and we will help you check.

What is an ablation?

A catheter ablation is a minimally invasive procedure. Thin, flexible tubes are guided through a vein, usually at the top of the leg, into the heart. Your electrophysiologist then uses heat or cold energy to create tiny areas of scar that block the faulty electrical signals behind the abnormal rhythm.

Is AFib dangerous?

AFib is usually not an emergency on its own, but it raises the risk of stroke and, over time, can weaken the heart. That is why it deserves a proper evaluation: treatment can control symptoms and lower stroke risk.

How long is recovery?

Most patients go home the same day or the next morning after an ablation and return to light activity within a few days. Your physician gives you a recovery plan for your specific procedure.
